Viewpoint Garden

Viewpoint is the small community garden at the end of Hamilton Park Avenue with great views over the river. The garden was originally established by The Coach House Trust but closed to the public several years ago and left untended. at the beginning of lockdown the association took responsibility for re-opening and maintaining the garden. Access to the garden made lockdown more bearable for many residents without gardens. The scale of the space is domestic and we aim to make it welcoming for everyone. A place to meet, bring a coffee, read a book, do a bit of gardening and for children to play.
The gardening group has drop-in sessions which are posted on a WhatsApp group chat which you can join by contacting us using the button below. Visitors and volunteers should feel free to a bit of gardening at any time. Visitors often make a point of thanking volunteer gardeners and telling them how much they appreciate the garden.
